This course was started in the year 2003 with the initial intake of 60 students. The intake has now risen to 120 students. Today the department is one of most sought after department by the young talent wanting to make its mark in this field The objective of the department it to provide knowledge of modern computing systems as well as sound theoretical background to meet involving needs of students so as to bridge the gap between the academia and corporate sector.
