Adesh Group of Institutions
The Adesh Group, a pioneer in Health care, Technical and Medical Education came into existence with incorporation of Adesh Foundation in 1995 vide registation No. 618 of 1995-96 (Registered under Societies Registration Act XXI,1860) at Muktsar, an underdeveloped area of Southern Punjab with the aim and objecr of service to the Humanity in the sphere of Health Care, Para Medical and Technical Education.
The society has been running Technical Institutions namely, Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faridkot since 1996 (Annual intake:360), Bhai Singh College of Engineering, Muktsar since 2002 (Annual intake:375) affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and approved by All India Concil for Technical Education, two Polytechnic Colleges under the name Adesh Polytechnic College, Muktsar since 1996 (Annual intake:300) and Malwa Polytechnic College, Faridkot since 2003 (Annual intake:300) approved by All India Concil for Technical Education and affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training.
The society realized the lack of proper Healthcare facility in the region, where even basic needs were difficult to get. All the referral Institutions are not less than 150 Kms. away from this place there is no other center for integrated management of patients in this part of the State as well as most of the Southern Haryana (Sirsa, Dabwali, Hisar, Fatehabad districts) and adjoining areas of Rajasthan (Sri Ganga Nagar, Hunumngarh districts) with the aim to cater to the needs of the population by providing comprehensive health and medical care and also providing medical and para-medical education in this underdeveloped Malwa region, the society established Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Bathinda with the annual intake capacity of 150 students in MBBS course with the approval of Medical Council of India/Govt of India & affiliation Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. It has an advanced teaching hospital with all modern diagnostic & treatment facilities ina vast campus of 43 acres of land on National Highway. The first batch of 150 students had already been admitted through Central Counseling conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. The advanced teaching Hospital has started functioning since July,2005 with all clinical specialities. The hospital has a bed strength of 750 besides 120 private rooms 80 beded ICU,ICCU & Neonate Nursery. The hospital has the facilities for providing round the clock uninterrupted emergency, ICU/ICCU/ICRUI NICUI PICU and Intensive surgical care units , 12 ultra modern operation theatres with latest equipments, ultra modern automated laboratories, dialysos, Blood Bank, Cancer Unit, De-addiction Centre. The institute also astablished para-medical colleges in Nursing (GNM:60 seats, B.Sc. Nursing:60 seats & Poat Basic Nursing:60 seats) Pharmacy (D- Pharmacy:60 seats), Physiotherapy (BPT:60 seats), degree level (25 seats) & Post Graduate Degree level courses (8 seats) medical courses in Anatomy, Physiology & Bio-Chemistry in the same campus. The Institution will also start degree level courses in Bio-Technology, Bio-Information, Medical Lab. Technology, Micro-Biology & pharmacy from the next academic session. The foundation also aims at establishment of Adesh institute of Dental Sciences & Research to offer BDS from the academic session 2008 in the same campus. This is imagined that the institution would be a prmiere institution in the North India to deliver world class health care services and medical & para-medical education & shall remain dedicated to the service to the humanity for all the time to come . The Institution is also associated with a 300 beddev multi speciality refferal hospital under the name of Adesh Hospital & Research centre with all clinical & Diagnostic facilities astablished in 1991 which offers integrated services in multi specialities with facilities like Advanced Trauma Centre ICU/ICCU, Dialysis Unit, Poison Management Centre, Blood Bank, Neonate ICU, Laproscopy, Endoscopy, C. T. Scan, Ultrasound, TMT, EEG, Fully automatic Laboratories with Auto Biochemistry Analyser, Auto Cell Counter, Arterial Blood Gas Analyser (A.B.G.), Eliza Reader, Ventillators and Cardiac monitors, Central Gases and Suction etc. to tackle all medical and surgical emergencies round the clock. The hospital is also running a 15 bedded de-addiction center at Free of Cost. The foundation has developed another venture aiming at development to top-notch diagnostic facilities in the field of Radio Diagnosis under the name and style as Adesh Diagnositcs at Bathinda with Latest models of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Spiral C.T. Scan. The foundation established a super speciality under the name & style as Adesh Charitable Cancer Hospital at Muktsar which is the very first cancer hospital in the Malwa belt & one of the most well equipped private cancer hospital in Punjab. The state of art latest models of Radiotherapy equipments(Cobalt 60, Kirloskar Theratronics) imported from Canda and Brachytheraphy imported from Holland are functioning round the clock with approval of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. This hospital is providing all the necessary facilities for cancer treatment including Diagnosis facilities, radiotheraphy, Brachytherapy, Chemotheraphy and Cancer Surgery.
